Where can it live?

In an office, a lab or a house, against an outside wall: its outdoor unit's line passes through that wall. It runs on a dedicated circuit, the kind a clothes dryer uses for Wick, an electric range for Wick Pro and an electric car charger for Wick Ultra. If your room lacks one, Wick arranges it and it appears in your written price.

Will it heat up the room?

Nearly all of the heat goes outside to its own outdoor unit. What stays in the room at full load is about 450 W for Wick, about 825 W for Wick Pro and about 1.65 kW for Wick Ultra, each a design target. For scale, a portable heater on high is 1.5 kW, so a Wick Ultra room needs ordinary air conditioning. Wick reviews your room with you before you accept a price.

Do I need an IT team?

No. Wick connects power and network on delivery day, and you reach it from any laptop on your network. The first year of service is included, and a Wick specialist can set it up with you if you want one.

What happens if a drive fails?

Your work stays. Two mirrored enterprise SSDs hold every file, 15.36 TB on Wick Ultra, so one can fail without losing a checkpoint. Keep a copy somewhere else as well: your own storage or backup service, over fiber or the standard network port. The 15.36 TB is storage. GPU memory is separate, 1,152 GB of HBM4 on Wick Ultra.
