Power and cooling for an AI computer in your building.
Wick Ultra, with four NVIDIA Rubin GPUs, draws 11 kW at full load on a 240 V, 60 A circuit, the circuit a Tesla Wall Connector uses at 11.5 kW.
Liquid carries nearly all of that heat to its own outdoor unit, so about 1.65 kW stays in the room, about what one space heater gives off on high.

Power, heat and sound by system
Design targets at sustained load, from reported component power.
| System | Power | Heat left in the room | Sound at 1 m | Cooling |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Wick | 3 kW on a 240 V, 30 A circuit | About 450 W | 35 dB(A) | Liquid, with its own outdoor unit |
| Wick Pro | 5.5 kW on a 240 V, 50 A circuit | About 825 W | 35 dB(A) | Liquid, with its own outdoor unit |
| Wick Ultra | 11 kW on a 240 V, 60 A circuit | About 1.65 kW | 40 dB(A) | Liquid, with built-in coolant distribution and its own outdoor unit |
| Wick Cluster | 24 kW per node on three-phase power | About 3.6 kW per node | 45 dB(A) | Liquid, outdoor units or building water |
Heat decides where it can go
Every watt a computer draws becomes heat. An air-cooled server puts all of it into the room it stands in: NVIDIA's DGX B200 draws up to about 14.3 kW and moves 1,550 cubic feet of air a minute, which is why it lives in a data center.
Each Wick is a split system. One sealed liquid line runs through an outside wall to an outdoor unit about the size of a home heat pump's, with no compressor and no refrigerant. The small remainder leaves through the flutes at each rounded end.
The circuit
Wick needs a 240 V, 30 A circuit, Wick Pro a 240 V, 50 A circuit and Wick Ultra a 240 V, 60 A circuit, like an EV charger. Wick Cluster takes three-phase power in a facility with coolant.
If your room needs a new circuit, Wick arranges the electrician and the permit, and the cost appears as one line in your written price.
Sound
The targets at 1 m are 35 dB(A) for Wick and Wick Pro, 40 dB(A) for Wick Ultra and 45 dB(A) for a Cluster node. The fans that move most of the heat sit outdoors.
Questions
Can an AI computer run in a house?
Yes, when its heat goes outside. Wick Ultra runs on the circuit an EV charger uses and leaves about 1.65 kW in the room. It needs an outside wall and a spot outdoors for its unit. Wick reviews your room with you before you accept a price.
Do I hire the electrician?
If your room needs a new circuit, Wick arranges the electrician and the permit, and the cost appears as one line in your written price.
What happens if the outdoor unit stops?
Wick is designed to keep running at the power the room can carry: about 15% for Wick Ultra.
