Wick Ultra and NVIDIA DGX Station, side by side.

Wick Ultra has 1,152 GB of GPU memory on four NVIDIA Rubin GPUs, 4.6 times the 252 GB on the one Blackwell Ultra GPU in NVIDIA DGX Station GB300.

DGX Station is a deskside workstation sold through NVIDIA partners, listed from about $85,000 to $113,000; Wick Ultra is a liquid-cooled system that Wick delivers and switches on, from $656,000 with its outdoor unit and the first year of service.

The specifications

Each figure for DGX Station is NVIDIA's own, from its product page. Rubin figures are NVIDIA's per-GPU specifications, not Wick measurements.

Which open models each one holds

GPU memory sets the largest model a computer holds. At 4-bit, each billion parameters takes about half a gigabyte, so DGX Station's 252 GB holds weights up to about 504 billion parameters and Wick Ultra's 1,152 GB up to about 2.3 trillion. Context and serving memory come on top of the weights.

What NVIDIA's 748 GB means

NVIDIA quotes 748 GB of coherent memory for DGX Station: the GPU's 252 GB of HBM3e plus the Grace CPU's 496 GB of LPDDR5X. The GPU can reach the CPU memory, at a far lower bandwidth than its own HBM3e, so a model that spills past 252 GB runs from the slower tier.

Wick Ultra's 1,152 GB is HBM4 on the GPUs themselves, 288 GB on each Rubin GPU, with 1,536 GB of CPU memory beside it.

Where each one lives

DGX Station draws 1,600 W and needs a 20 A circuit, so it sits at a desk. Wick Ultra draws 11 kW on a 240 V, 60 A circuit, the circuit an electric car charger uses. Liquid carries nearly all of its heat to its own outdoor unit, and about 1.65 kW stays in the room, a design target.

If your room needs a new circuit, Wick arranges the electrician and the permit, and the cost appears as one line in your written price.

Choosing between them

If every model you run fits in 252 GB and one GPU is enough, DGX Station costs less and plugs into an ordinary office circuit. Wick Ultra is for teams whose models need more than one GPU's memory, such as DeepSeek V4 Pro at about 800 GB in 4-bit, and who want the system installed, cooled and serviced for them.

Questions

Is Wick Ultra made by NVIDIA?

No. Wick makes Wick Ultra around four NVIDIA Rubin GPUs and two NVIDIA Vera CPUs, and delivers, installs and services it.

Can a DGX Station run DeepSeek V4 Pro?

Not from GPU memory alone. Its weights take about 800 GB at 4-bit, more than DGX Station's 252 GB of HBM3e. Wick Ultra's 1,152 GB holds them.

How many DGX Stations match one Wick Ultra in GPU memory?

Five DGX Stations add up to 1,260 GB, but each is a separate machine with its own 252 GB. One Wick Ultra holds 1,152 GB in one system.
